energetic, motivated mid-level clinicians to
fill a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Charge
Clinician position available at our Bedford
surgical services health center.

21 health centers in 17 Northeast Ohio counties.

Position
Summary: The Clinician acts as part of the
medical services team providing reproductive
healthcare (family planning and abortion
services) at our surgical site as outlined in
PPNEO protocols for practice. Provide direct
patient care including: history review, health
education, physical exam, counseling, diagnosis
and treatment according to protocols for 3-4
patient encounters per hour. Participates in
accomplishing customer-focused goals and
provides referrals and participates in
follow-up. Consults with Lead Clinician to
ensure compliance with guidelines and
participates in Risk and Quality Management
program, clinician meetings and other agency and
center meetings as required.
In
addition to the above responsibilities, the
Charge Clinician is responsible for the medical
oversight of the surgical health center. The
Charge Clinician works in partnership with the
Health Center Manager as a leadership team to
provide quality patient care and customer
service.
Position
Requirements: Position requires education
commensurate with Ohio statute licensure
requirements for practice capacity (NP, CNM).
Must have current Ohio nursing license,
certificate of authority (COA) and certificate
to prescribe (CTP) or be eligible for
CTP-externship. One year of practice experience
in women's health preferred. ACLS certification
also a plus.
