NP
Qualifications.
Must have a bachelor's degree from approved
school of nursing, current Ohio RN licensure,
CPR certification, and two to three years'
experience with patients of varying ages,
illnesses, and economic backgrounds. NP
certification is desired.
PA
Qualifications. Must have a two-year
Physician and Surgeon Assistant Program
accreditation, excellent communication and
organizational skills, and familiarity with
computers. Board certification is
preferred.

Center
Status: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
Position
Summary. Act as part of the medical
services team providing reproductive healthcare
as outlined in PPNEO protocols for practice.
Provide direct patient care including: history
review, health education, physical exam,
counseling, diagnosis and treatment according to
protocols for 3-4 patient encounters per hour.
Participates in accomplishing customer-focused
goals. Provides referrals and participates
in follow-up. Consults with Lead Clinician
to ensure compliance with guidelines.
Participates in Risk and Quality Management
program, clinician meetings and other agency and
center meetings as required.
Position
Requirements. Requires education
commensurate with Ohio statute licensure
requirements for practice capacity (Nurse
Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife).
Must have current Ohio nursing license,
certificate of authority and certificate to
prescribe or be eligible for certificate to
prescribe externship. Two to three years
practice experience in Women's Health required.
Willingness
and ability to learn new skills appropriate to
PPNEO clinical duties. Able to work
cooperatively as a member of a healthcare
delivery team.

served in their homes, in nursing homes,
hospitals, and assisted living residences.
Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne
County seeks to enhance the quality of life for
patients and their families by providing them
with compassionate care, support and grief
resources during times of serious illness and
loss.
Position:
The Hospice & Palliative Care Team seeks a
qualified, compassionate Nurse Practitioner to
work with the Palliative Care Program Director
to deliver comprehensive, collaborative
community-based palliative care services.
The Nurse Practitioner will function
independently and as a member of the
Interdisciplinary Team, perform patient
assessments and other medical procedures
consistent with the collaborative practice
agreement, and work with in-patient facilities
to develop appropriate palliative care programs.
Hours:
Flexible schedule available on a part-time or
full-time basis ( 20 to 40 hours/week).
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioners with 3+ years of clinical
experience and demonstrated experience in the
area of clinical practice are needed to meet the
needs of Hospice & Palliative patients and
families. Master's degree required with a
current license to practice in the State of
Ohio. BCLS certification within 3 months
of hire required.
