NEONP
was formed out of a need for us to share information with
other nurses working in advanced roles in many healthcare
settings.
Our scope of practice, liability insurance, third party
reimbursement, prescriptive privileges, and the need for
quality contact-hour programs are only a few of the issues
that concern all NPs.
We exchange ideas and good fellowship at our meetings, do
business and learn from informative programs.
NEONP membership has grown because we help each other
identify solutions. We meet five times a year, in January,
March, May, September and November.
In addition to this website for NPs, NEONP publishes a
regular, comprehensive newsletter to keep you informed on
events, legislation and current nursing issues.
NEONP members have representation in the Nurse Practitioner
Assembly of Ohio Nurses Association, the Ohio Nurses Association, and the American Academy of
Nurse Practitioners. We are also very active in the Ohio
Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.

annual professional dues are only $35 if you're
a member of ONA, OAAPN, AANP or any other
affiliated nursing organization. Or $40 if you're not currently
affiliated. We do not yet have an online
payment system for new memberships and renewals,
but one is planned for 2008.
